United for Safe and Equitable Schools

Know Your Rights Session - TOPIC UPDATES
Dear SEA Members,

We have made a schedule adjustment to our Know your Rights sessions to ensure we are able to center BIPOC voices, make space for those Bargaining Team members to be present who advocated with strength on these topics, and to ensure you get the most information we can provide to you in these sessions. In all sessions we will address ongoing equity, SPED, and job role concerns.

Here is the updated schedule, health and safety has switched nights. If you have already registered we have sent this information also to you about re-registering. Note it is the same Zoom links, but the topic focus is different:

Everyone is working so hard in this moment to feel grounded to start school. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Although we will not be recording the sessions, we will update our FAQs on the website with members’ contributions and asks of clarity. We also understand this conversation is critical for members and will do follow up sessions knowing understanding your rights will be part of an ongoing conversation.

Thank you,
SEA Leadership
