Assistant Superintendents and Central Office leaders are some of the most important — and often most underserved — voices in Illinois school leadership. Rarely do they have a dedicated space to connect with peers, reflect on their practice, and invest in their own growth.

Level UP was built to create exactly those connections. As Illinois' only Professional Learning Community designed exclusively for Assistant Superintendents and Central Office administrators, it gives you the tools, the peers, and the space to level up your leadership — strengthening departments, developing teams, and improving outcomes for students across Illinois.

We're now enrolling for the 2026–2028 cohort.

Each session is designed to go beyond passive learning. Participants engage with guest speakers and leadership frameworks, work through real-world case studies, and take part in facilitated peer discussion that puts shared challenges on the table. Structured networking and personal reflection are built into every meeting — because growth doesn't happen in a lecture, it happens in conversation.

Sessions run Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday — a format intentionally designed to minimize time away from your district while maximizing the depth of the experience.

  • Year 1: Four in-person PLC sessions at IASA in Springfield
  • Year 2: Three sessions at IASA, plus one site visit to a host district

Cohort size is intentionally limited — which means the relationships you build are real, and the conversations go deep.

We hope you'll join us for the 2026–2028 PLC. The relationships you build will last well beyond the program.

Superintendents: Know an assistant superintendent or central office leader who would benefit? We encourage you to forward this email to your team.
