MAZEL TOV TO OUR BAR MITZVAH,

DANIEL MELMAN

Daniel Melman

Daniel was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah with his family at the age of 5. He is currently in the 7th grade at Rowland Hall where he has been a student since kindergarten. Daniel plays on the Rowland Hall boys soccer and boys volleyball teams and participates in MATHCOUNTS, his school math club.

Daniel is passionate about animals (especially cats) and enjoys spending time volunteering. For his mitzvah project last fall, Daniel and fellow Kol Ami student, Max Brant, raised over $2,000 and collected many needed supplies for the Humane Society of Utah. Daniel also volunteers through Rowland Hall and Crossroads Urban Center to prepare meals for those in need.

Daniel is both an avid mountain biker and freeride skier and is a member of the Snowbird Freeride team. He loves getting “big air” on both the bike and skis. He also enjoys tennis and rock climbing. Daniel loves hanging out with friends, playing video games, and eating sushi, ramen, and chocolate.

Daniel is a very special young man and we are thrilled and so proud to celebrate this Simcha with our entire community.
