Generosity of the Season

There are many ways in which we can help others have a sweeter new year. Rodef Shalom has always been a community filled with generosity, and here are two ways you can continue that tradition:

Remember our Food Drive: Bags to be filled with non-perishable food are still available, and if you've filled a bag, you're welcome to drop it off with us in the Commons area when you come for Yom Kippur services.  Supported by the Community Outreach and Social Action Committee.

Annual High Holy Days Appeal: Each year, we give you the opportunity to support Rodef Shalom's variety of programs and services ranging from hunger action to our temple's greatest needs. Appeal Cards will be available at the Kol Nidre service.

At Tashlich, we begin the new year symbolically casting off last year’s sins by tossing pebbles or bread crumbs into a body of water. This year, we are taking part in “Reverse Tashlich,” and will be cleaning up stream beds in Frick Park, thereby removing human sins” from the water. Register to join us!
