  Kol Ramah, Week 1
A Moosh Start to Summer!
The Word of the Summer Is...Moosh !

Moosh means excellent (from the word mushlam, meaning perfect). Our first week of camp was definitely moosh! Chanichim (campers) are getting to know their counselors, reconnecting with friends from last summer, meeting new friends, building bunk unity, and enjoying all of the activities at camp. Our first Shishi al Ha'Migrash, our weekly Friday Shabbat celebration, was filled with energy and ruach. We wish our Ramah family a Shabbat Shalom!
How are you? Moosh!

Host Israeli Staff Members
Join us in welcoming 56 new shlichim (Israeli staff members) to the Ramah family and 16 returning shlichim. Our shlichim love to spend Shabbatot and weekends with the Ramah family. It's their opportunity to enjoy the greater New York area, get to know you, catch up on sleep, enjoy a home cooked meal, and even do some laundry. If you are able to host shlichim, kindly  complete this form . We will be in touch with you if we can make a successful match. Thank you very much!

Every Friday, we will post highlights from each edah (division) on the Ramah Nyack website . Click on the name of an edah below to read this week's update.
General Camp News
What's New at Camp!
Our new loose parts/ma'ayan area, a free-form art space, has become a fast favorite among our chanichim. This area include s materials that can be moved around, designed and redesigned, providing more opportunities for creative engagement. We love watching our c ampers use their imaginations, explore, and play all through a Jewish lens. Another addition to camp is our Functional Fitness area. Using guided movements, campers train their muscles to work together to gain strength and agility. Migdal, our high ropes course has a new cargo net element allowing our campers to challenge themselves even more!
We provide our campers with snacks and meals throughout the day. For the safety of our campers and staff with food allergies, we ask that no food of any kind be sent to camp with your children .
