  Kol Ramah, Week 2
Yom Yisrael and Independence Day!
This week's Yom Yisrael and Independence Day celebrations were moosh! Led by our incredibly talented mishlachat, our campers were transported to a virtual Israel. Chanichim explored Israeli innovations, made fresh pita, parted the Red Sea, and went tubing down the Jordan River! We visited a shuk created by our shiur staff where we sampled various fruits and spices, and made our own za'atar. In addition to celebrating Israel, we proudly waved our Stars and Stripes, discussed the pride and privilege of being American Jews, and were treated to classic American songs by Amichai the Music Guy. General Camp News
Our Sha'ar Hebrew Immersion program, now in its seventh year, is proud to have 122 campers participating. Sha'ar campers enjoy all the fantastic activities at Ramah Nyack, while engaging with their counselors exclusively in Hebrew.  Click here  or on the image above to take a look at this video highlighting the second week in Sha'ar.
New this summer, we are proud to introduce Monday Morning Havdallah. As we transitioned from a restful Shabbat and weekend to a busy week at camp, our chanichim loved singing the brachot with Amichai the Music Guy and starting a new moosh week at camp.
Sports at Ramah
Our campers are having an amazing time this summer playing a wide range of sports! Guided by our professional sports tzevet (staff), they are playing camper favorites like basketball and baseball while also trying out yoga, tennis, functional fitness, volleyball, and more. Our highly talented sports staff also continues to engage campers in many other fun activities including Pickleball, kickball, and Ultimate frisbee. Our professional Super Star Soccer staff is with us once again this summer working with our campers on sharpening their skills. Kol Hakavod to all of our sports staff! Click here or on the image above to view video highlights of sports at Ramah.
We provide our campers with snacks and meals throughout the day. For the safety of our campers and staff with food allergies, we ask that no food of any kind be sent to camp with your children .

  • Upon your arrival for early dismissal, please park in the Gould parking lot (across from the entrance to Nyack High School). Please obtain a visitor's pass from our security staff and proceed to the camp office where you will meet your child and sign him/her out.
