The 5 Health Battles We Need to Fight Next - Dr. Ron Hoffman
GMO labeling

Subsidizing health, not illness

A Marshall Plan examining true causes of disease

Freedom of choice in healthcare

Food revolution
"I propose that we divert more research dollars to discovering the true causes of disease, which can be traced to improper nutrition, sedentary lifestyle, stress, toxic environmental exposures, and even iatrogenic consequences of the very medicines, vaccines, and surgical interventions we routinely undergo. That can’t happen unless we change the goal of healthcare from profit to universal well-being. The challenge is to see if we can maintain white-hot economic growth while reining in the monetary windfall excesses of the food industry, industrial polluters, and medical profiteers.

I think it’s a risk we need to take because, at the present rate, our economy and national security will collapse under the burden of diseases of modern civilization."

Dr. Ronald Hoffman  is recognized as one of America’s foremost complementary medicine practitioners. He was founder and Medical Director of the Hoffman Center in New York City, and now maintains a private practice there. He is also author of numerous books and articles for the public and for health professionals, and is host of the popular nationally-syndicated radio program  Intelligent Medicine , and the  Internet podcast  of the same name.

Dr. Hoffman received his Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College and his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He was trained in Internal Medicine at the Manhattan V.A. Hospital. He subsequently attended the Tristate School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtained New York State certification to perform acupuncture.

He is a Fellow of the American College for Advancement in Medicine and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist of the American College of Nutrition (ACN).

"The flu shot can mean the difference between life and death..." takes an odd and tragic twist for the late NY state senator Jose Peralta who died of sepsis as a consequence of getting the flu shot himself...
" Eight-year-old Amely Baez of LeFrank City, New York died on Feb. 5, 2018 of “flu-related” symptomsaccording to local health authorities. Published reports did not indicate whether the child had received the influenza vaccine.

New York State Senator  José Peralta (D-East Elmhurst) said Amely’s death was tragic and that it “reminds us of how dangerous the flu outbreak is” and he urged New Yorkers to “protect themselves, and their children, and get vaccinated.” He added, “We need to ensure we do everything possible to combat the spread of this deadly virus as the number of hospitalizations is increasing. The influenza vaccine can be the difference between life and death.”
An article in  The New York Times  quoted Sen. Peralta’s director of communications, Chris Sosa, as saying, “It was like pulling teeth to get him (Peralta) to talk about not feeling well. He just thought he was having symptoms related to getting the flu shot.”

Peralta’s death was attributed to sepsis—an overstimulation of the immune system triggered by an infection and leading to “septic shock.”
Laughter - the BEST Medicine!

My New Year's resolution is to help all my friends gain ten pounds so I look skinnier.

I love when they drop the ball in Times Square. It's a nice reminder of what I did all year.

To kick start my New Year: I took an IQ test, and the results were negative.

My resolution was to read more, so I put the subtitles on my TV.

I was going to quit all my bad habits for the new year, but then I remembered that nobody likes a quitter.

My wife still hasn't told me what my New Year's resolutions are.

It's officially New Year's Eve, you only have a couple of hours to do all the things you will resolve not to do in the new year.

May all your troubles last as long as your New Years resolutions?

What happened to the man who shoplifted a calendar on New Year's Eve? He got 12 months!

Whoa... Doesn't get more WONDROUS than this!
