Stewardship Series: We Are the Church
Message: "...In Our Witness"
Rev. Kallie Green
| | |
We will be celebrating All Saints Sunday on November 1st at both of our worship services.
During services we will remember the members of our congregation that have passed away this past year and we will also invite those worshipping to come and light a candle in memory of loved ones that have died this year and past years.

Daylight Savings Time Reminder
Don't forget to "fall back" this weekend!
Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, November 1st. Remember to set your clocks back ONE hour before you go to bed this Saturday night, October 31st.
Enjoy that extra hour of sleep, and we will see you refreshed and ready for worship on Sunday morning at our regular service times!

2026 Membership Series: We Are the Church
October 18-November 15th
Every year we set time apart to reflect on what it means to live out our United Methodist vow to faithfully participate in the ministries of the church through our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness. Our theme this year is “We Are the Church.”
Each week we will hear from different members of our congregation and how they have experienced God in living out this vow. Their unique testimonies are a reminder that we all have different gifts that God has given us to share. My prayer is that this time in our church will be a time for all of us to consider how it is that we can “provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”
We will be sending out a letter before this Sunday to members and regular attendees with information about the following below. (We will also have extra copies of the letter with the commitment pledge and directory update information on Sunday.)
- Sharing a Commitment Pledge and (if applicable) joining on November 15th
- Updating information for our new Church Directory
"Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:23-25 (NRSVue)

Please consider bringing food items with you to the first Sunday of the Month offering! (We are especially in need of canned soups, chilis, canned meat products (tuna, chicken, etc), peanut butter and diapers)
During 9am service there will be a basket on the first pew for you to place your items before service, during children's time, offering or communion, or after the service. During the 11am service, you can place your items in the bin by the entrance door.

| | New Fall Sunday School Series: Deep Blue Rotation Stations | | | | |
Children will be immersed in the Bible with a new rotational curriculum from Deep Blue!
In a rotational learning setting, the same Bible story or theme is taught for several weeks and each week, learners rotate to a different station. The story remains the same, but children encounter it in different ways in each station.
This allows kids to learn one story in depth and gives kids the opportunity to learn in their preferred learning style. There are seven different learning styles: Art, Science, Games, Cooking, Missions, Spiritual Practices, and Storytelling/Drama. We’ll choose a learning style for each week of the month using the same story!

New Worship Addition: Sermon Notes for our older kids!
We would like to help encourage our older kids that have received their bibles to bring their bibles to church and to actively participate in worship. Starting this Sunday, we will provide Sermon Notes pages for kids on the sign-in tables at the front and back of church that our kids 3rd grade and up can pick up and fill out during the service as they follow along during the scripture readings, sermon, prayers and other parts of the service. Kids can bring their filled out Sermon notes to Miss Alissa's office after church for a small candy or prize!
