Come celebrate with us and enjoy free mini pies and coffee and say hello!

Volunteer bakers and servers welcome. Let Pastor Stella know if you'd like to help bake mini-pies for the event!
Looking for ways to SPICE UP your Spring Break?

A meal has more flavor when you can cook with spices, vinegar and oil so we're asking for donations to help SPICE UP the Blessings Box. Spices are a frequently requested, but rarely donated item. You can place items directly into the Blessings Box or bring the church during Little Easter events or office hours.

Please no glass, homemade or expired items. Dollar stores are a great source for inexpensive spices.

Little Easters

Sundays are not counted as part of the 40 days of Lent. These days have been called “Little Easters,” because every Sunday should be a day of remembering Christ’s resurrection with joy. The pandemic hit us last year at the start of Lent, and it feels like we have been living in a dark season ever since. We have had plenty of Lent and could use a little extra Easter this year.

Sunday, March 14, 12-2 Pie Day! Come enjoy free mini pies and coffee and say hello.
Volunteer bakers and servers welcome.

We'll parade around the building starting at 9:30am and then when the kids get to the back of the building, the adults will hide the Easter eggs for the kids in the front. Don't forget your baskets! Masks and social distancing required.

Celebration of Life for Sue Ferrell

Planning is underway for a city-wide celebration of the life of Sue Ferrell. It will be held Tuesday, March 30 at 3pm at Texas Old Town. Refreshments will include coffee and servings of Sue’s famous pound cake.

To honor Miss Sue, Kyle UMC is providing the pound cake for the event. Would any of you like to bake a cake for the event? The recipe was included in Sue’s obituary (link below) and can be shared with those who want it. Please let Pastor Stella know if you are able to bake a cake!
