Please join us in welcoming new members Patricia Davis, Diane Beard and Matt Fleischauer to our church family! All three became members on December 20th!
Due to colder weather, Coffee Under the Tree has moved into the Family Life Center. If you'd like to join the socially distant coffee and conversation, it is every other Tuesday at 9:30am starting January 5th.

Alternative Free Garage Sale-Plan B

As with most things in 2020, we have had to regroup and get creative. We were not able to do our Annual Free Garage Sale in April due to COVID restrictions but Shannon Taylor has come up with a great alternative solution to help us de-clutter and enrich the lives of others in need.

During the holidays, use your extra time to clean out your closets, garages and attics. We will be donating our items this year to Arms of Hope, a not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need. For more information, visit armsofhope.org/

Bring your clean, undamaged clothing, toys and household items to the Family Life Center on Wednesday January 13- Friday January 15 from 10am-1pm or Friday January 15 from 5-7pm. Items must be bagged or boxed. No large appliances or mattresses will be accepted. Masks required. Arms of Hope will collect our donations on Saturday, January 16th.

Volunteers are need to accept donations at the above listed days and times. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jayme Bryson at 512-539-8972.
KUMW NEWS
Your UMW will be working on the yearly calendar and planning for a great 2021! We all want to wish you God’s blessings in the New Year!
MONTHLY DEVOTIONALS

We will be changing to a monthly devotional in 2021 as we continue pray for a release from the Covid virus and still keeping connected. It will come on the 4th Thursday each month. If you have been receiving the weekly devotional, you will automatically receive the monthly devotional. You don’t have to be a member of Kyle United Methodist Church to receive it. Just contact Lynne Kyle at 775-338-2014 (mobile) or 512-504-3888 (home) or [email protected]

JANUARY 2021 CHEER CIRCLE

The Cheer Circle will meet on Monday, January 11th in the FLC at 11am. We continue to meet and follow COVID protocols and Kyle city requirements. We take temperatures, sanitize and space out chairs and wear masks. We will not be serving lunch until further notice.

The Cheer Circle meets on the second Monday of each month. We share a monthly devotional, prayers, fellowship and friendship. We invite interested ladies to please come and visit the Cheer Circle. We welcome new faces and new ideas. We enjoy working on our local and global missions; focusing on
women and children’s needs.

If you want to hear more about this wonderful opportunity of faith and service, please call Circle Leader Lynne Kyle at 512-504-3888.
Bible on Tap is now meeting in person and virtually!

NEW for 2021!

We will be doing Sunday School by Zoom at 10:30am every other Sunday starting January 3rd! We really enjoyed the "face to face" time with our kiddos. Alternate weeks will have crafts and other activities for the kids to do! Zoom link is same Children's Ministry Zoom we have been using but it will be posted to Facebook again in case you need it! We are looking forward to the possibility of outdoor, distanced Sunday School when things warm up in the Spring.

All Sunday School is virtual for now, but this is a great opportunity to build that family faith formation at home! Check our KUMC Children's Ministry Facebook page for resources!

Check out our New Virtual Classroom for Children's time videos, Sunday School Lessons, bible story videos, games and craft ideas!
