Bible on Tap

Bible on Tap meets every Monday, 6:30pm at Wicked Wings (5401 FM 1626 Ste 305, Kyle, TX 78640) for an hour long bible study, which covers a current event topic that provides countless opportunities for discussion and biblical reference! All are welcome, not just members or people who attend KUMC! No bible needed and no homework/materials to prepare ahead of each meeting.

Come join this wonderful group of non-perfect Christians who get together each week to support each other as they explore, learn, and go deeper into their faith.
Be ready the next time disaster strikes our area.  We have 2 remaining Basic ERT classes scheduled for 2019. Share these classes with your church and friends. You do not have to be a Methodist to get trained and help during a disaster. Class locations & dates below along with a link to the Basic Training sign-up.

The members of the Living the Questions Adult Sunday School class invite you to join in a study of John Wesley and Methodists, the beliefs and actions that started the group of believers called Methodists.

The class will consist of some readings, some presentations, and an extended dialogue about what it means to us today. Travel with us from Epworth, Lincolnshire in 1703 through time attending Oxford, during ordination in the Anglican church, on a trip to the New World in 1735 to preach in Georgia, and onward to return to England, Aldergate Street, and the continued the development of a group of Methodists, in both England and America, as Methodism was born. Live the Questions with us in the faith journey.

We invite you to join us at 10:00 on Sunday mornings in the Wallace Classroom.
Coming in September! Whirl Children's Curriculum!

Characters kids can relate to
Videos feature animated characters that model what it’s like for kids to go through the questions and challenges of living out faith.

Bible-centered
Each Whirl lesson is centered on scripture and gets kids into the Bible.

Age-appropriate resources
Lesson materials and videos are available for pre-kindergarten through grade 6—equally engaging younger and older kids.

Faith in action
Learner leaflets include several suggestions for families to live out faith throughout each week.
*Your child should have brought home an information sheet in their parent packet from youth group last week. If you didn't get it, I can email it to you and I will upload to KUMC YOUTH Facebook group.
Sunday Night Youth Group is BACK!

Who wants to come hang out with some awesome youth?!? We are in need of adults to help with Youth Group. Can't help every Sunday? That's ok! Help when you're able. We have to have a minimum of 2 adults each Sunday for Safe Gatherings ratio so that gives us an opportunity to have lots of adults impact the lives of the kids in our growing youth group!

Can't help on Sundays? You can support our youth by providing meals and snacks.
If you'd like to volunteer or want more information, please contact Alissa Villarreal at [email protected] or 361-441-4206. Or visit our table at the Ministry Fair this Sunday, August 4th at 10:00am!
Youth Sunday School

This Summer, we welcomed new teachers to our Youth Sunday School-- Shannon and Jon Taylor and Paul Mojica! Thank you for serving our youth!

The Bible Lessons for Youth format of “Explore,” “Focus,” and “Connect” is an intentional learning approach to help teens FOCUS on the original context, EXPLORE how the passage speaks to their lives, and CONNECT with how to live out God’s Word in their daily lives and in the world.
