Butch and Joan and some friends fished here in January of 2025.  The welcome was warm and the staff would do almost anything to keep you having fun and staying happy.  Everything is top notch from fishing to service. The lodge is family-oriented and it was designed to bring as much comfort as possible to its clients, while still preserving the Amazon jungle flavor. Even an open bar! The lodge is located on one of the Rio Negro’s tributary rivers. It is only 5 minutes in a bass boat to the Rio Negro waters. The Rio Negro and his tributaries have a very acidic “Coca Cola” color water. That means virtually NO MOSQUITOES! It is the perfect habitat for one of the most impressive fishes in the world, the Açu Peacock Bass, Cichla Temensis. It is also home got three other species of peacock bass (Orinoco, Popoca and Tara), and multiple game fishes like Arawana, Arapaimas, Red Tail Catfish, Tiger Shovel Nose Catfish, Piraíba catfish(Lau-Lau) and many others. Due to rainfall and river floods, they operate from September to January only.


Upon arrival at the lodge, each client will be shown to their double-occupancy guest cabin (single-occupancy is available at extra charge). Each cabin has 2 full-size beds, AC, its own bathroom and shower with hot water, a fridge loaded with water, beer, juices and sodas.
