Building affordable homes in
Nez Perce and Asotin Counties since 1991
August 2021
Affordable Home Ownership Program
accepting applications
We are excited to announce that we will begin accepting applications for our 35th Habitat house August 15, 2021 through 5 pm on October 15, 2021. We broke ground on this 3-bedroom build in the final weeks of 2020. Our building permit was recently approved by the City of Lewiston so we are entering the fall ready to move forward with the next stages of construction.

Information about our Affordable Home Ownership Program and applications are available on our website, by calling the office at 509-758-7396, or by emailing director@lewisclarkhabitat.org.

Of important note: Applications and ALL required paperwork must be received or postmarked by 5 pm on October 15, 2021.

If you know of others who might qualify for the program or who are interested, please have them contact us. We want to share this opportunity with as many people in Nez Perce and Asotin counties as possible.
Albert Family - House #22
2008

Daisy Albert, selected in 2008 officially became an LCV HFH homeowner in 2009, shares her experience being chosen.

She was a single mom, doing it all on her own with 5 children in a 2 bedroom apartment until Habitat stepped in and gave her a hand up. Daisy counts her blessings every day and will never forget the feeling of having a house to call home.

L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity partners in local disaster response
Last month county officials and community members dropped off donated snacks and beverages for fire fighters and victims of the local wildfires. We were blessed to participate in the delivery and distribution effort of these donations in partnership with Twin County United Way and Erb's Ace Hardware. We continue to seek ways in which we can help in local disaster response efforts.
