What -
A TASTE OF SHABBAT,
SONG, & HAVDALAH

Who - Educator & Cantorial Soloist Andrew Susman

When - Saturday, NOV. 20 at 7:00 pm

All are welcome!
Enjoy a JOYFUL, MUSICAL, & SPIRITUAL Time!
A Shabbat celebration in song & separation

  traditional ~ contemporary ~ spiritual ~ engaging

We will combine some of the best of Shabbat in prayers, quotations, words, and, most of all, music and then conclude with Havdalah, a beautiful service meaning "separation", as we separate the holy day of the Sabbath from the rest of the week and bid farewell to Shabbat for another week!

Havdalah is a very special service, during which we use all of our senses .. to smell the sweet spices, to feel the heat and hear the crackling fire of the Havdalah candle, to taste the sweetness of the wine.

Andy is masterful at all of this and puts his heart and soul into it! You will gain so much from this time together! We invite and welcome one and all to this very special program.

We will provide printable copies of prayers to share prior to this program, so that all can participate from home! This is the second time we are running this wonderful program and we look forward to a great time for one and all!

We also are looking forward to our annual meeting on Monday evening, November 15 at 7 pm for all of our members. If you are a L'Dor Va-Dor member, please attempt to attend this very important meeting on Zoom, since we will need and be voting for our new governing Board. It is critical to put the correct persons in place for the future of L'Dor Va-Dor! We hope that you will attend and, perhaps, even step up and assist us in building the future of our congregation today by being on the Board, leading or participating in a committee, or any number of tasks that are important for us operationally! Thank you to all of the members who have put their hat into the ring for candidacy on our Board!! We thank Noah Silver, Stanley Rosenwasser, Nancy Beyer, Donna Field, Jack Goldstein, Marcy Weiss, Janet Zweiback, and the current Board members who will be running for re-election! Todah Rabah!

We are still in need of someone to assume the role of TREASURER of L'Dor Va-Dor. Suzanne Burstein, past president and very active member, assumed this position over a year ago, providing us with her unwaivering support and assistance. We are in need of someone with a financial, accounting, or marketing background to help us out PLEASE, as our next Treasurer. WE NEED YOU! Thank you to all our current and past Board Members for all of their work, support, and volunteerism!
We hope to see YOU next Friday evening for our OUTDOORS SHABBAT celebration with Rabbi Barry and Carol Garrett. This will be held at the West Boynton Park on Friday, November 12 at 5:00 pm. We look forward to enjoying Shabbat together live! If you are a Veteran, we welcome you to introduce yourself at this special outdoor live service, so that you may be honored! PS We will NOT hold our weekly Zoom and Schmooze on Nov.12, so plan to be with us and let's "SCHMOOZE" live following this service in the beautiful outdoors park!

We wish you all the best as we move through November and give thanks for all we have! May your November be amazing and filled with love, laughter, good health, and peace!
With Shalom,
