We welcome you to be a part of our L'Dor Va-Dor Family
as we engage in
an ENJOYABLE, DYNAMIC and RATIONAL view of Judaism,
with a commitment to SOCIAL ACTION!
In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanoag shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. Unfortunately, this is just one noted historical event of kindness and friendship towards the original inhabitants of our country, the Native Americans. The holiday of Thanksgiving also has Jewish roots, in our holiday of Sukkot and the sharing of the harvest with gratitude.

As you share Thanksgiving with family and friends, consider what each of you is thankful for and, if you have not voiced this, put your words of gratitude out there. Perhaps start a tradition and go around the table and let each share their appreciation.

We at L'Dor Va-Dor just want to let you know how very grateful and appreciative we are of all of YOU, those who are part of our extended family of Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor and support us in all we are attempting to accomplish. L'Dor Va-Dor is proud to be a part of the South Florida community in Palm Beach County for 25 years. Please help us to get the "word" out and share us with your friends and neighbors too! We are thankful to be in your lives!

The entire house is tilted at a distinct angle, the dog hasn't been fed in five years, and Avery's grandmother, who everyone thought was dead, is still alive and kicking. Forced to either accept the oddities of his family, or leave them behind, 37 Postcards suggests that you can, in fact, go home again... You just never know what you're going to find.
