Our Seder will be led by Rabbi Barry Silver and Cantor Carol Garrett and will include our wonderful and special traditions and customs, along with modern insight and interpretation and music! This event will be held in the clubhouse of Isola Bella Estates, 9940 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, FL 33467 (west of Lyons Road and just east of 441).We will share in the cost of the Brunch spread and enjoy games of choice: Mahjongg, cards, chess, Rummikub, Scrabble, or whatever YOU desire. Richard Knox is a native son of Brooklyn, NY where he attended Brooklyn College and later earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Baruch College. After moving to Merrick, NY he began a long tenure as Director of Mathematics for the Copiague Public Schools. Following his retirement after 38 years as a school teacher and administrator, he began to develop a series of multimedia presentations based on his first love, the performing arts. His list of over 70 programs includes Broadway musicals, film, and opera. Richard specializes in 20th century song writers and vocalists, and radio and television programs of the “Golden Age.” Currently Rich is a resident of Omaha, Nebraska where he continues to present programs virtually via Zoom. The Levis JCC is offering this program complimentary to one and all as a TASTE of EXCELLENT VIRTUAL programming that it offers!

YANKEE RESISTANCE - The Story of a Small Connecticut Town that Challenged the Nazis and Won

Learn about the Connecticut town that said NO to the Nazis! In 1937 the German-American Bund bought land in Southbury, CT with plans to build Camp General Von Steuben, a Hitler-Youth style camp. However, the residents of the small town ran them out of town. An amazing true story!

We had a BLAST this past Friday evening for our live PURIM SHABBAT! Rabbi, Cantor and many guests dressed up in costume! We handed up musical instruments and groggers for the congregation to share in the joy of the night! It was a lively, fun-filled, music-filled journey that all enjoyed!
