It’s time to tell your story. Writing is a powerful tool for communication, self-discovery, and reflection. Military Voices Creative Writing Workshop offers a supportive environment to process emotions and connect with peers. No writing experience required—if you can think, you can write. Join veteran author Keven Basl on Thursday, September 4 and 18 at 3:30PM on Zoom to read a short piece of writing, see what makes it work, and use it to share our own stories. 

Come join us on Saturday, September 13th at 9 AM for a peaceful morning in the garden! We’ll be harvesting fresh vegetables like okra, tomatoes, jalapeños, carrots, and more—and you get to keep what you pick! We’ll also spend time caring for the garden, enjoying the calm and connection that comes with tending to nature. Plus, our flower beds are bursting with blooms perfect for making a beautiful bouquet. 🌼 Whether you're here to harvest, help, or just unwind, there's something for everyone. 🌱

Need a little extra support? Our Community Resource Center is here for you! We're OPEN on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM-2PM for access to FREE clothes, food, hygiene products, and so much more! Volunteer opportunities are also available. Come lend a hand and make a difference while helping distribute essential items. Everyone is welcome—let's lift each other up and strengthen our community together! We’re thrilled to announce the grand reopening of a veteran-owned restaurant in Rockmart on Wednesday, September 10th! Now offering indoor seating, they will be open from 11 AM to 9 PM—ready to serve up your favorite traditional Southern dishes in a fresh new space. To honor our heroes, veterans will receive a coupon for a free dessert all month long. Come celebrate with us, enjoy a delicious meal, and check out their beautiful new dining area!
