2023-5784 High Holiday services will be held in our magnificent sanctuary and streamed online. Service times are listed below.

Parking passes can be picked up at our office or emailed upon request.

Schedule of Services 

Rosh Hashana Day 1 :

Saturday, September 16th , 10:00 a.m.

Rosh Hashana Day 2 :

Sunday, September 17th , 10:00 a.m. 

Tashlich :

Sun., Sept. 17th , 4:00 p.m. 

at Hillside Farms w/ Temple B’nai B’rith

Kol Nidre :

Sunday September 24th 6:15 p.m. 

Yom Kippur :

Monday September 25th 10:00 a.m.,

Concluding Service 5:00 p.m.

Once again there will be no fees for seats for Temple Israel member families. Everyone else who would like to attend our High Holiday services must contact our Administrator, email Sally Strayhall or call the office at 570-824-8927 M-F between 9am-2pm to register.

High Holiday Floral Fund

Visit our High Holiday Floral Fund page to acknowledge friends and family during services for a minimum $25 donation that will help cover the cost of beautifying the Bima. Announcements, Memorials and Simchas are all eligible to be included in your listing that will be distributed on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, and published on our website.
