On Tuesday, November 17 the City of Palmdale is considering a .5% art fee on all private development. We stopped this fee from moving forward in January and it has reemerged, now during a pandemic and an unstable economic environment. Please send your opposition letter to the City Coucnil and consider testifying against the Ordinance on Tuesday night. This would be poor precedent setting for other Art Fees across the region. As previously communicated, both Ordinances were adopted. These are the last two ordinances from the Affordable Housing ActionPlan(AHAP) introduced in 2018. You can read the AHPO amendments here.
