Government Affairs Roundtable with Councilman Blumenfield
Join us July 28 for a BIA-LAV Government Affairs Roundtable with Councilman Bob Blumenfield. We will learn about his priorities for the remainder of the year, important motions making their way through the City's legislative process and receive an update on operations under COVID-19. Roundtable events are open to BIA-LAV Members and special guests.
On Tuesday, July 14, the Long Beach City Council passed the City's proposed Inclusionary Housing Ordinance. The Ordinance will take affect in 2021 through a phased in process, over the next three years. BIA-LAV sent comments in opposition and provided changes throughout the stakeholder process.
Los Angeles County's Department of Regional Planning (DRP) is currently updating the Housing Element of the General Plan for 2021-2029. Join the online workshop on Thursday, July 30 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM to learn more and provide feedback.
