LA HAP formulary additions
Buprenorphine (Belbuca, Probuphine, Buprenex, Butrans) and buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone) have been added to the
LA HAP formulary
for uninsured clients. Insured clients are able to access these medications according to the policies set by their primary insurer.
2020 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines in effect
Effective 3/1/20, Louisiana Medicaid is following the 2020 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines for the purposes of assessing eligibility. Accordingly, LA HAP has also switched to using the 2020 guidelines which can be found
