MARCH 29 - APRIL 4, 2020
Greetings!

It's Monday- and while the team and I are adjusting, it still doesn't quite feel normal- does it? With increases in cases in Maine each day this weekend, it's hard not to feel on edge. With so much outside of our locus of control, it's wise to focus on what is in our control. With limits to business activity and daily life activities, what exactly can we do?

We can help. Even while staying distant, we can help.

The state has a new site to coordinate all the ways to help- sewing masks, donating PPE your business has in inventory, volunteering in the medical field, and more. Maine companies are making sanitizer, face masks and shields.

Here at the Chamber, we are partnering with MedCo and the Sun Journal to help feed local families impacted by the business closures. Join us , and help.

Congress has approved $350 billion in emergency loans for small businesses to help them keep workers employed. In fact, if small businesses maintain or later restore their payrolls, they may not have to repay some — or possibly any — of the loan. View the guide and checklist from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to help your small business through the process.
