Dear Alumni & Friends,
In "Under the Harvest Moon" the poet Carl Sandburg wrote:
Love, with little hands,
Comes and touches you
With a thousand memories,
And asks you
Beautiful, unanswerable questions.
Yes, the leaves are turning, but their harlequin descent signals the renewed activity of academic, artistic, and athletic endeavors that so wonderfully colors each day at Lawrence Academy. Whether it be in classrooms, studios, or playing fields, those students ask those beautiful (and, yes, sometimes unanswerable) questions.
In short, we love the fall.
It may be
Lawrence Academy's 225th year
, but everything looks and feels new and fresh and crisp, just like the first cold snap of September. So, if you haven't been back to campus in a bit, make a plan to stop by and rekindle your own memories...
