Happy May! The upcoming municipal candidate declaration period and other election-related deadlines are a reminder that the 2025 election is just around the corner. If your municipality's clerk or recorder needs additional election-related resources or support, please make sure they review the new 2025 Election Calendar, 2025 Candidate Filing Checklist, and 2025 Financial Disclosure Deadlines documents published by the Lt. Governor's office.

The Lt. Governor's office also manages an online forum through the collaboration platform Civic Roundtable. It's a space to ask questions (and get answers) in real-time, to share ideas and resources, and to celebrate the meaningful work of election administration. If your city recorder or town clerk is not already taking advantage of these resources, please email Rozan Mitchell, the Training Coordinator with the Lt. Governor's office, to connect them to the online forum.
