Legislature Convenes Second Special Session of 2020
Both chambers of the Louisiana Legislature convened the Second Extraordinary Session of 2020 on September 28. As stated in the call, the special session can last up to 30 days and must adjourn on Tuesday, October 27.

Broussard Chamber
The 8th Annual Business on the Green Golf Tournament will take place October 26. 144 golfers will converge on Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club for a little networking and a lot of fun. Register a team by clicking here.

Planning for the third and final installment of BroUSsard Women in Business to take place October 29. The event will be held virtually and more information will be made available soon.

Jefferson Chamber
The Chamber is excited to offer three in-person events in October! The Golf Classic on October 8 is limited to 144 golfers and provides the opportunity to network with Jefferson Chamber leadership, board members and key decision makers in our community. The next week, on October 14—15, the Chamber will travel to Baton Rouge for the Reverse D.C. Fly-In. Participants will have an opportunity to advocate for key issues facing the Greater New Orleans region and meet with members of Louisiana's Congressional Delegation and State Leadership. Rounding out the October events is the Tour de Jefferson bike ride on October 18. This family-friendly community event offers 4 routes for cyclists of all experience levels through Jefferson Parish.
Natchitoches Area Chamber
We will hold an in-person event in October, our our inaugural NYPGA Golf Tournament. Our YP group is putting this event together at the university golf course.
St. Bernard Chamber
The Chamber will be hosting the 7th Annual Tour da Parish on November 7 in Lower St. Bernard Parish. For more information about the ride, please click here.
