Greetings!
Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! We are very excited to meet all of our new LACHSA families and reconnect with those returning. LACHSA is such an amazing school filled with so many talented students, gifted teachers and wonderful administrators. We are looking forward to working for and with you all. I would like to invite everyone to join us at the first Parent Council Meeting of the school year, Monday September 9th from 6:30-8:30pm at LACHSA.
We will introduce the Parent Council Board, share news and plans for the upcoming year, have updates from Administrations, and much more!

Registration Packages
We are asking all LACHSA families to donate funds to help secure their registration packages for the school year. Each registration package is specific to grade level and includes many of the essential items for a successful year at LACHSA
Your generosity also helps support our office needs for the entire school and other initiatives of the LACHSA Parent Council.

We are seeking nominations for the following vacant positions on the 2013-14 Parent Council:
- 9th Grade Representative
- Music (Instrumental) Representative
- Musical Theatre Representative
- Cinematic Arts Representative
- (2) General Representatives

Give with Target
This year, Target will give money to schools all over the country for one simple act: a vote. Our school needs just 25 votes to earn a $25 donation from Target. But that's only the beginning. For each additional vote, our school will get $1 more. So please remember that, although the gesture is small, the rewards are potentially huge.
