Reservoir Walk Celebrates Women's History Month

LADWP welcomed employees, retirees, and community members to the Hollywood Reservoir for a scenic 3.5-mile Reservoir Walk celebrating Women’s History Month and the 101st Anniversary of the Mulholland Dam. Attendees connected with LADWP staff and community partners along the route and learned more about the infrastructure and people who help deliver water to Los Angeles every day.

The Los Angeles Board of Water and Power Commissioner Meetings are becoming even more accessible for Angelenos. As of March 10, viewers can tune in live and follow every discussion in their preferred language — English, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Farsi, Armenian, or Tagalog. The enhanced player will support live rewind and pause during the webcast so constituents can catch up in their preferred language without missing key agenda items.

Customer Support Saturdays are Here to Help

On April 18, LADWP will host the next Customer Support Saturday events at North Hills, Crenshaw, and Watts Customer Service Centers. Customers will learn how to save on their bill and receive one-on-one assistance on how to

sign up for budget billing, discount programs, and much more!

North Hollywood High School Wins LADWP Regional Science Bowl

North Hollywood High School won first place at the 34th Annual LADWP Regional Science Bowl on February 21, standing out for their STEM-based knowledge in the academic competition of 42 local high school teams. With this victory, they’ve earned scholarships and will advance to the National Science Bowl® in Washington, D.C. this April, where they will represent Los Angeles and compete against top teams from across the country.

2026 Tap-Off Safety and Emergency Preparedness Fair

LADWP’s Water Distribution team recently hosted the 14th Annual Tap-Off Safety and Emergency Preparedness Fair at the Sylmar West facility. During the action-packed event, 19 teams and 10 individual competitors representing water organizations from across the region competed to showcase their expertise and skill. Congratulations to this year’s winning teams, and good luck in the upcoming Section Regionals competition!
