President's Message:

One of the many benefits of being an LAG member is the opportunity to be in our annual art
shows. Our first show of the year is at the Great Frame Up in Longmont. This show not only
gives you a chance to win cash prizes at our fun artist reception (Mar.8 th ), but it will also exhibit  your work for a full month providing your art with lots of exposure.

This year we are adding a silent auction fundraiser to our March show to help provide awards to our young artists in the St. Vrain Valley Schools. We would love your donations!

Some ideas; theme gift baskets (bath items, date nights, art supplies, movie night, chocolate lovers, games,  gardening, etc.) or if you give workshops maybe a free spot in your class, jewelry, handyman for an hour. Whatever you think people would enjoy. If you donate items, please make sure they are new/not used. You can contact me if you would like to donate or have any questions: smsarts@hotmail.com.

You can bring your donations for our March show to our next meeting, Feb. 13 th , where we will  be having a wonderful model for us to draw. Don't forget to bring your drawing pads and  pencils!

See you then...
