KIKI TOLLES FEATURED ON HACKING THE RED CIRCLE PODCAST
TEDxLagunaBlancaSchool Student Executive Producer Kiki Tolles '20 sits down with Mark Sylvester of Hacking the Red Circle Podcast to discuss Laguna's upcoming exciting and inspiring TEDx event on January 31.

SEEKING A FIRST RESPONDER TO SPEAK AT TEDxLAGUNABLANCASCHOOL ON 1/31
In the midst of trauma and tragedy, our TEDx Laguna students are more dedicated than ever in planning their upcoming event on January 31. On the heels of such tragic circumstances, they hope to uplift and inspire our community with "ideas worth spreading."

To that end, they would like to book a local first responder as one of their speakers: specifically someone who has worked the Thomas fire and/or the Montecito mudslide. The TEDx students understand that this is a last minute request, and also that these heroes are currently doing critical around-the- clock work.

If anyone in the Laguna community knows a first responder who could share 20 minutes of time with Laguna on January 31, please let the TEDx team know by emailing tedx@lagunablanca.org . Our students would be honored and thrilled to welcome such a speaker, and give him/her their deepest gratitude for taking care of our community.

MADISON MCLEOD ACHIEVES TOP RANKINGS ON THE TENNIS COURT
Fifth grader Madison McLeod '25 is making big strides against competition on the tennis court. She is currently ranked #5 in her age bracket, girls 10's, in all of Southern California by the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

Madison recently returned from a prestigious Tennis Academy in Barcelona, where she had the opportunity to train 5.5 hours a day, 6 days a week on clay courts. She also just participated in a USTA level 1 tournament in Palm Springs, where she competed against girls two years her senior.

Congratulations, Madison! We are so proud of your continued accomplishments!

It's never too late to join the Middle School Math Club (MSMC)!  Our goal is to share the joy of mathematics throughout the Middle School while providing an opportunity for students in Grades 5-8 to experience problem solving situations outside of the math classroom. Participants will solve new mathematical problems and learn new problem solving methods, both individually and as part of a team. The problems will be based on grade appropriate math knowledge, yet may require higher order math problem solving skills.

All activities of the MSMC are free of charge. Sessions will be conducted by Kelley Baeza. Come give it a try!

The math club also meets each Wednesday at lunch in Room E402.

To register your child today, please email  Kelley Baeza .
