STUDENTS PRACTICE AERIAL DANCE IN PREPARATION FOR LIVE PERFORMANCE OF JANE AIR
Students in Dr. Charles Donelan’s AP English Literature class are flying high thanks to a partnership between the Santa Barbara Centre for Aerial Dance and Laguna Blanca’s English and performing arts departments.

For four weeks, students are training under the direction of the Centre for Aerial Dance director, Ninette Paloma, culminating in a 45-minute aerial performance entitled Jane Air —an adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s novel Jane Eyre —which will take place on the Laguna campus, in Spaulding Auditorium, on November 29.

The TEDxLagunaBlancaSchool team of students is hard at work creating the first-ever TEDx event at the school, which will take place January 31, 2018. Follow them on social media to be the first to know about event speakers and ticket sales!
