DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Tomorrow is my birthday
I will be 81 years old
and have come to a place
where I can say
I am very proud of these past 80 years.
These two pictures say it all.

Cuz here I am still making
the music I love and have loved
since I was a child.

Singing the Truth - My Truth -
It's how I embrace, respect
and honor the music and the song.

On Happy Madness I have sung the truth as I hear it and know it.
These songs are about something and somebody and my hope is when you hear them you will think about your own something or somebody.
Speaking truth to the heart through music.

My gratitude to Miki, Luques, Ralph and Lucas for their amazing talent and generosity. I loved making music with you. And, knowing now it was the last time my dear friend Ralph Peterson and I would work together makes me very grateful to have this recorded.

Thank you to my family and friends for their many years of love and support. Nobody does anything alone.
I have been and continue to be very lucky...very blessed.
I hope you enjoy. I started performing when I was six.
I am now 80. I AIN'T DONE YET.
