The Leadership ARTS Mentoring Program (LAMP) at Long Beach Community Action Partnership (LBCAP) is now accepting applications for the LAMP Summer 2023 Internship! LAMP is an income-qualifying program, ensuring that youth have equitable access to resources and opportunities.
This summer, LAMP is a paid internship (up to $2000 stipend) for youth 14-24 years old whose household income qualifies. Held at LBCAP's facility in North Long Beach, our program offers leadership skill development through digital media arts education. No prior art experience needed. Participants will be accepted into 1 of the following 4 art disciplines:
- Film/TV Production
- Graphic Design
- Music Production
- Photography
LAMP Summer 2023 (Internship Schedule)

Dates: June 20-August 9, 2023 (8 weeks)

Days: Tuesday + Wednesday + Thursday (weekly)

NOTE: Final week concludes on a Wednesday

Hours: 11AM-4:30PM (16.5 hours per week)

Location: LBCAP (117 W Victoria St, Long Beach, CA 90805)
Limited spots available! Applications will be accepted until all program spots are filled. Applicant screenings will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Applicants must meet LAMP's income eligibility qualifications and must be able to commit to the entire 8-week internship schedule to be considered for placement. Apply today!
