Greetings,

This month, in observance of Black History month, we are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions of our very own members and community leaders at our upcoming 48th Annual Gala on February 21, 2025. We will also continue to celebrate Black Excellence throughout the month and beyond, through various programming, events, highlights, etc.

Even if you were unable to secure a ticket to our upcoming and proudly sold out Langston Gala, we invite you to celebrate as we will be awarding over $110,000 in scholarships to deserving and incredible Black law students.

This year, we are motivated by our theme, “Sowing Seeds.” In continuance of Langston’s great tradition, 100% of membership dues will go toward scholarships. Your membership is your very own opportunity to sow seeds and enjoy various benefits from Langston.

We proudly kicked off this year with a grand Reception hosted by Langston and Ralph Lauren at the opulent Beverly Hills Ralph Lauren store. This event was largely attended and greatly enjoyed. A portion of the proceeds from purchases at the Reception and over the past weekend will be applied to scholarships and our disaster relief efforts.

Today, we extend warm wishes for a happy Valentine's Day to you. This holiday presents a unique opportunity to celebrate and cultivate a different kind of love: the love, passion, and compassion we have for our industry and community through this organization. There are plenty of heartfelt strategies we will employ to make members, sponsors, and supporters feel cherished and valued as tokens of our appreciation throughout the year.

Wishing you a day overflowing with love and joy!

Tatianna Metters Scurlock, Esq.
