As we move into the heart of summer, we hope this message finds you well and had well-deserved rest and time with loved ones this past weekend. July is a time of both reflection and renewal, and we’re excited to share several important updates and opportunities with you.

Upcoming Events:

• Langston General Meeting – Join us on July 23rd for our General Meeting and a fireside chat titled, Sunshine on ICE with Langston’s President-Elect, Ludlow Creary, Vice President, John Mathews and guests. A special thank you to our gracious hosts, the Wilfandel Club.
• Members Retreat – The first ever Members Retreat is almost at capacity. A limited amount of rooms at the Langston rate remain and must be booked by no later than 5pm, July 18, 2025.
• Hall of Fame – Save the Date: October 11, 2025 – Join us for a night to remember as we honor our esteemed legal giants and community leaders.
• Lawyer Training – For those looking to sow seeds and support constitutional rights, we’re partnering with advocacy organizations to offer a legal training session for non-immigration attorneys. The training will take place on July 15, 2025, and focuses on assisting immigrant families.
• Member Spotlights – We take great pride in celebrating the accomplishments of our members. This month, we recognize many outstanding contributions — in particular, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Board Member, the Honorable Terrence Jones, on his appointment to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
