Dear Langston Members,
As we enter the final stretch of 2025, I find myself reflecting on how this year’s theme, Sowing Seeds, continues to take root in meaningful ways.
October was an especially remarkable month for Langston. Our Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was a resounding success. A celebration of the excellence of trailblazers whose legacies continue to inspire us all.
Looking ahead, we are excited to launch our:
Langston Giving Campaign - Sowing Seeds, Building Legacies. “Every Membership Builds a Future."
Through this campaign, 100% of all membership fees will continue to support the Scholarship Fund, reaffirming our long-standing commitment to investing in the next generation of legal professionals and empowering future leaders to thrive.
This year, we are proud to announce new partnerships with generous scholarship donors, including Lisa Gilford of Sidley, our 2025 Lawyer of the Year, whose leadership and dedication to education truly embody the spirit of our theme.
And we’re just getting started! Additional significant scholarship collaborations are already in the works and will be announced soon.
Our efforts to serve the community have also expanded through new partnerships with WLALA, BWL, and other esteemed organizations dedicated to community service. Together, we are advancing the Sow. Sign. Secure. Tour., an initiative that provides free wills and powers of attorney to members of the community.
The harvest of our collective work will continue to grow well beyond this season.
