Former LARCP instructor and TU Dortmund doctoral candidate Bryce Lawrence invites you to participate in an on-line visual landscape assessment survey of German landscape types and biotopes. They are studying how people from different countries perceive German landscape types. Please access the survey here. As Bryce says, it's like taking a trip to Europe from your desk! You will be part of a network of respondents from across the world.

Katelyn Rose, MLA 4th year student, is participating 
in a benchmarking trip to the Bay area, October 19 - 20. The trip kicks off a partnership between Steelcase, Scott Rice, and the College of Architecture, Planning & Design and will inform Scott Rice's offer to prototype classroom solutions in advance of making final decisions for the new building. The travel group includes student representatives from each department, Professors Jani and Hubbell, design team members, Scott Rice's office and Dean de Noble. They will visit Stanford's d_school, IDEO's San Francisco office, the Steelcase Work Life Center, One Workplace's Center for Active Learning, and significant education installations at UC Berkeley.

Associate Professor Jon Hunt is a visiting instructor and reviewer for Professor Virginia Green's graphic classes at Baylor University Oct. 19-23.
