All first-year students must complete a mandatory appointment with their assigned LAS academic advisor in both the fall and spring terms of their first year in order to be able to register for classes for the next term. First-year students will be contacted via their UIC email with additional information about this requirement; however, students should feel free to make an LAS advising appointment at any point during their first two terms at UIC. |

The Orientation Leader application for the 2020-2021 season is now available! Join the team and assist new UIC students and their family members during summer orientation programs and other UIC transition events through the year. Orientation Leaders will share their experiences and act as a mentor and leader to the newest members of the UIC community. The application deadline is November 20. |

The Health Professions Forum is a series of educational and networking events designed to offer our UIC undergraduate students an opportunity to network with professionals in health related fields. In an effort to widen the perspective of careers with a bachelor’s degree, we are inviting a number of professionals from diverse specialties and settings such as hospitals, clinics, government, non-profits, business, and more to share paths, perspectives, and best practices. Professionals will also share insights about direct transitions to careers and/or advanced degrees. Check out the upcoming programs:
