City of Huntington Beach Small Business Relief Program is Currently Accepting Applications

Small businesses (with 30 or fewer employees) that have been adversely impacted by COVID-19 are invited to apply for a one time grant of $5,000 to $10,000. Grants may be used towards payroll, rent/lease payments, PPE, and other similar expenses. Detailed guidelines and eligibility requirements are available  HERE .

Applications are available now and will be due no later than Friday, June 26th at 5PM!
ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES & NON-PROFITS:
SBA’s EIDL and Advance Program Reopened to All Eligible Small Businesses and Non-Profits Impacted by COVID-19 Pandemic
With the reopening of the EIDL assistance and EIDL Advance application portal to all new applicants, additional small businesses and non-profits will be able to receive these long-term, low interest loans and emergency grants – reducing the economic impacts for their businesses, employees and communities they support .

The SBA is also assisting small businesses and non-profits with access to the federal forgivable loan program, the  Paycheck Protection Program , which is currently accepting applications until June 30, 2020 .

Southern California Gas Co.  (SoCalGas),  Pacific Gas and Electric Company  (PG&E), and  Opus 12  announced on Monday that they have demonstrated further advancement of a new electrochemical technology that converts the carbon dioxide content in raw biogas to pipeline-quality renewable natural gas, a critical improvement in the science of upgrading waste emissions to renewable gas. Orange County Together: A Guide to Safely Reopening Schools in the Covid-19 Era
With support from public health experts, including our local Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA), the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) and school districts across the county have developed a comprehensive guide with recommendations and best practices for reopening more than 600 schools in a safe and responsible manner.
