A. SEABOARD IC EXPERIENCE PACKAGE: $ 1,313
The "Full Package Price" includes 8 days in Chicago, IL, the cost of USY International Convention, Pre-Convention with
Beth Hillel Congregation B’nai Emunah
, all Kosher meals and snacks, and all programs and admission fees. Group travel is NOT included in this package.
B. IC ONLY: $1,150
The "USY International Convention Only Price" includes 5 days in Chicago, IL, the cost of USY International Convention, all Kosher meals and snacks, and all programs and admission fees (airfare and Pre-Convention are NOT included in this price). This registration price includes registration to USY International Convention which will be held in the center of Chicago, IL. Travel is not included as a part of this package.
TRANSPORTATION
SEABOARD IC EXPERIENCE TRAVEL
Due to the cost of group flights this year, we are NOT offering a group travel option. However, we are booking our staff onto different flights in/out of different airports across the region and Chicago. If you would like to book your USYer onto a flight with a staff you can book them onto one of the following flights:
December 21st
- United Flight 3695 from DCA to ORD at 3:45 PM
- Southwest Flight 2237 from BWI to MDW at 3:50 PM
- Southwest Flight 1026 from RDU to MDW at 5:40 PM
December 28th
- United Flight 624 from ORD to DCA at 6:00 PM
- Southwest Flight 3628 from MDW to BWI at 6:40 PM
USYers may also choose to book flights not with staff if they find better prices or want to book with points on different airlines into either O'Hare International or Chicago Midway.
For flights arriving on Sunday, December 21st, they must arrive no later than 7:30 pm into Midway or 7:00 pm into O'Hare to be confirmed a bus seat to our pre-convention. For flights departing on Thursday, December 28
th
they should not be scheduled to depart until 5pm or later. For any flights not within this time range we do not guarantee a bus seat and the USYer may be responsible for the additional costs of ground transportation.
IC ONLY TRAVEL
USYers may book their flights into either O'Hare International or Chicago Midway. For flights arriving on Sunday, December 24
th
they must arrive no later than 1pm to be confirmed a bus seat and for flights departing on Thursday, December 28
th
they should not be scheduled to depart until 5pm or later. For any flights not within this time range we do not guarantee a bus seat and the USYer may be responsible for the additional costs of ground transportation.
Cancellation Policy
As we get closer, more money is invested on behalf of each registered participant. Therefore, refunds will only be granted as follows:
- Cancellation prior to October 16th – No cancellation fee
- Cancellation from October 17th – November 1st - $100
- Cancellation for November 2nd – December 1st - $250
- Cancellation after December 1st – No Refund
SCHOLARSHIP
Seaboard Region USY does not offer scholarships for USY International Convention. However, we highly encourage you to reach out to your local congregations, Sisterhoods, Men's Clubs for scholarship. In addition, Elie Schwartz z’l International Convention
Scholarship is available by requesting it from Sasha Bloch, Regional Teen Engagement Director.
