Quick Quilt Club
Learn to be a Jack (or Jill) of Diamonds
Though it may be a hard, hard card to find, you can win new skills in this class.

The 60 degree diamond -- more accurately, a rhombus -- is the basis for many quilt blocks. You can make cubes, stars, optical illusions and so much more. Literally HUNDREDS of quilt patterns are based on this cut.

You'll master both tools and techniques in this series with Cindy. Choose from one of the two session classes or the all day class on the 22nd. As with all classes, you'll save on purchases; join the Quick Quilts Club and you'll save 20 percent.

This course with Jennifer Berg is for lucky kids and their parents, grandparents or some other reasonably responsible adult.

Your youngster will learn the basics of knitting (and we're willing to grant that you might, too!)

For 8-15 year olds, looking for a project this summer, knitting is a great distraction over the summer break, but the skills may carry them toward a lifetime hobby.

Join this crew to learn how to make scarves and hats. Learn to Cast On, Knit, Purl, and make hats, cowls and scarves.

Limited seats remain. Don't delay.

Garment Sewing
for Everyone.
Even You.
Come join us in making the York Pinafore from Helen's Closet -- perfect for summer. This pattern is available in sizes 0-30 and is easy for all sewists -- even quilters wanting to move into garment sewing.
You will learn the basics of taking measurements and spend some time customizing the pattern to fit you. Then, you'll sew up this fun and unique garment using skills your quilting or crafting projects. Optional: If you wear or bring leggings and a t-shirt to the class, that will help in fitting the pinafore as you go, and you'll be able to wear your fabulous new outfit out the door!

Now in store -- come see!
Jacquie Gering's
New Favorite
Solid Color Fabric
Jacquie Gering announced at Spring Quilt Market that she's now using Paintbox Solids from Paintbrush Studios, exclusively.

She prefers the consistency of the dye lots, the resistance to fraying and the hand.

We've brought in her favorite colors, a curated collection that shows the depth of color from this manufacturer.

Compare the hand to the sample of the brand she used to use (not Moda Bella solids . . .) and you'll know why.

This pattern from Jacquie is free, here:
