Dear friends and colleagues –
I am writing to introduce myself to you (yesterday was my first day here) – and to share some relevant information about COVID-19.

While hard and fast rules are difficult to come by, our team wanted to send you some useful information that we have collected from dependable websites, National LeadingAge and our state affiliate partners.

We also encourage you to monitor the COVID-19 resource page on the LeadingAge Indiana website. We know that you are experts in infectious disease control and elder care and that you and your staff have already implemented many of the processes identified in this communication. That said, it is important that we are all constantly vigilant in applying best practices and following our own trusted policies and procedures.  LeadingAge Indiana staff remain diligent and are on alert to assist our membership in any manner beneficial to you, your daily operations, and most importantly, those in your care.

In your service,
Eric J. Essley – JD, MPA
