By learning to repair items instead of replacing them, you save money, reduce waste, and gain valuable, lifelong skills. Even if a repair doesn’t succeed, you’ll leave with knowledge that helps you troubleshoot and fix other items in the future.

TOUR A RECYCLING FACILITY!

Ever wonder what happens to your recyclables? Take a tour of a Waste Management Orange Recycling Facility and get a detailed look at what can (and cannot) be recycled and how items are sorted at recycling facilities.


Tours are open to all Long Beach residents 18 or older. Only 15 spots per tour are available and advanced registration is required. Please note that this tour involves some stair climbing.
