A requirement of the federal Drug Free Communities grant is getting in-kind match. This can look like donated money, meeting space, free advertising, volunteer hours and mileage, etc. Your time participating in various parts of the LCCA count towards this in-kind match. This fiscal year we are required to match 125% of each dollar we spend federally. Each year we receive $125,000 from the federal government, this means we need to get $156,250 in in-kind match!
Per the federal government, a single volunteer hour is valued at $34.79, and mileage is $0.67/mile! Your time and miles are so valuable!
