🐾 Welcome to our newsletter!

It was a wild summer here at LCCR, as usual. “Kitten season,” as it is known, was as wild, and we would not have been able to care for as many cats and kittens as we did without all the support you gave us. (Check out the stats below!) Our Rock Out For Rescue, in its fifth year, exceeded our hopes, as did Give Local York, and helped us get through the busy summer season. Thank you!

One of the places your support helps us is in caring for cats with FIP. This disease used to be a death sentence to cats, but thanks to new medication, we can now cure kitties with FIP. Check out the story below.

Finally, we can’t do what we do without fosters. Being a foster is so gratifying. Please check out the story below and consider joining us in helping the kitties.

Bowling for Kitties

Plan to attend Bowling for Kitties on Saturday, October 11 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Trindle Bowl in Mechanicsburg. Bowl a few games, meet some LCCR kitties available for adoption, and check out the handmade crafts donated by LCCR volunteers.

Haunted Wine Run

Registration is open for the annual Vineyard at Hershey Haunted Wine Run on October 18th. Loving Care Cat Rescue is once again the beneficiary, receiving 100% of donations from event registration. Whether you walk, run, or simply enjoy The Vineyard’s beautiful scenery, unique wines, and craft beers, this Halloween-themed event is not to be missed.

Wreaths & Swags - Save the Date

It’s never too early to plan for the holidays. Save the date for LCCR’s annual Wreath & Swag Sale. November 29 and December 6. Details, including how to place an order, will be posted on Facebook in October.
