Message from the City Manager, Daniel Jordan!

Greetings City of La Cañada Flintridge residents,

Happy September! LCF staff has been hard at work to provide you and our community with new programs and updates to our existing initiatives.

With the help of Blue Strike Environmental, we are in the process of updating the LCF 2016 Climate Action Plan (CAP) to further support sustainability efforts here in the City. We encourage you to share your thoughts on this plan through our Community Survey. The feedback will be compiled for resident review.

We've also been working on our water efficiency efforts. The City has dozens of smart irrigation and water conservation tips that residents can access. With your help, we can continue to reduce water usage in LCF.

Finally, we have been evaluating the efficiency of the City's "Planning Case" approval process. Most recently, we implemented ConnectLCF to serve as an easy application portal for the entitlement or building permit processes.

Don't hesitate to reach out by phone, email or visiting City Hall if you have any inquiries or issues.

With Deep Gratitude,

Daniel Jordan, Ph.D.

City Manager

Clean Power Alliance Update

In an effort to further its goal of citywide energy efficiency, La Cañada Flintridge applied to be part of the Clean Power Alliance (CPA), Southern California's newest locally controlled electricity provider.

The City's application is currently being evaluated by CPA.
