Greetings,

On March 13, LCNV hosted a USCIS Naturalization Ceremony. Sixty new United States citizens took the stage in front of a packed James Lee Community Center Theatre to celebrate their achievements, and the start of the new lives as Americans. One of these new citizens, Phuong, is an LCNV learner. When Phuong's classmates learned that she would be receiving her citizenship, they didn't only want to attend her ceremony, but they also threw her a party afterwards! This small story is a perfect example of the community fostered here at LCNV. Students, staff, and volunteers all work together to build a caring, generous, and learning-focused community.

Sincerely,

Roopal Mehta Saran, Executive Director
