Auditions Announced for Radio Plays Series
Lincoln Community Playhouse will produce a series of classic old time radio shows during January and February. Shows will rehearse via zoom, record at the theatre with spatial distance, and then be posted to social media each week. The shows will vary from comedies to thrillers.

Interested actors should submit a video audition between January 3-10 with one of the speeches posted online. Roles are available for women, men, and teenagers. The rehearsal schedule is also available on the Playhouse website. Cast list will be posted January 13.

Morrie Enders will direct.

Share the Memory Contest
Remember your first Playhouse show? We would like to remember with you! Share a photo of you in your Playhouse debut (or backstage) to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the tag #MyFirstLCP. Be sure to include the name of the show and year. Not sure of the year? Check the history section of our website!

Post the photo by Friday, January 15th and your name will be added to a drawing for a beautiful red fleece blanket decorated with Broadway musical logos. The perfect item to cuddle up with when watching Hamilton for the twentieth time!

Photo caption MUST include "#MyFirstLCP" in order to qualify so that we can find your submissions!

To get you started, here is Morrie's first directing credit at LCP, Three Little Pigs Out West in 2010.

Gabriel James Cook
Congratulations to Lauren and Parker Chase Cook on the birth of Gabriel James Cook. Gabriel was born December 9th at 5:21pm. He weighed 6lbs 7oz.

Lauren was in the ensemble for Playhouse productions of Mary Poppins and Sister Act.

Welcome to the theatre, Gabriel!
Gwen Siebler
The Playhouse honors the recent passing of Gwen Siebler. Gwen loved coming to the Playhouse with her daughter, Kay, to see her grandson, Zephaniah, perform. She also thought Morrie's curtain speeches were hysterical.

New HVAC Unit Installed
Lincoln Community Playhouse recently replaced one of the rooftop HVAC units. This unit heats the lobby and office areas (yes, it has been pretty cold here for the last couple of weeks). The unit cost $12,900 and was purchased with the generous support of Lincoln Community Foundation's Open Door Grant, funded by many area donors. Additional funding was provided by generous donors of the "Take a Seat Campaign" that created our building repair and renovation fund. Thank you donors!

A special thank you to Capitol Heating and Air Conditioning for replacing the unit in a timely fashion.
