The AAP recommends the annual flu vaccine for children 6 months of age and older.

Get to Know Dr. Emily Lieberman
Dr. Emily Lieberman joined Lurie Children's Primary Care - Town & Country Pediatrics in 2013. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2006. She completed medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2010 and completed her residency at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in 2013.
Fun Facts about Dr. Emily Lieberman
  • Dr. Lieberman was born and raised in Highland Park, IL. 
  • Her hobbies include cooking, baking, traveling, and finding fun new restaurants to dine at in Chicago.
  • Dr. Lieberman lived in the city of Chicago for 10 years before having kids but now enjoys the space and free parking in the burbs.
  • Prior to her path to medicine, she was a childhood musical theater performer. She has performed with Children's Theaters and choirs at Ravinia, Carnegie Hall in NYC, and St. Marks Basilica in Italy! "Pre-Covid, I loved nothing more than seeing plays on Broadway or in Chicago. I survived med school test anxiety by belting out Defying Gravity (from Wicked) in my car- unfortunately not very well or I may have pursued theater!"
  • She has been married for almost 12 years to Elliot, who is an ENT doctor in the North Shore. "We met doing cancer research and shared a microscope locker in medical school! We have two children, Olivia, almost 8, and Gabrielle, 5. We love family swimming outings, cooking family dinners together, and having dance parties to the latest pop hits."
  • Dr. Lieberman studied abroad at two hospitals. The first was in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she practiced medical Spanish in the pediatric ward. The second was in Mwanza, Tanziania where she worked with Dr. Jaclyn Winikoff teaching medical students. 
Welcome Dr. Carly Stokar and Dr. Zeba Hasan
Dr. Carly Stokar joined Lurie Children's Primary Care - Town & Country Pediatrics November 22nd, 2021. She graduated from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2015. Dr. Stokar completed her residency in pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in 2018. Prior to joining LCPC-TCP, Dr. Stokar worked in the Emergency Medicine Department at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and also worked for Teladoc Telemedicine.
Dr. Zeba Hasan joined Lurie Children's Primary Care - Town & Country Pediatrics December 6th, 2021. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Hasan completed her residency in pediatrics at Phoenix Children's Hospital, Maricopa Medical Center in 2013. Prior to joining LCPC-TCP she worked at Pediatric Health Associates in Naperville.
