Important Dates - Ballots Drop June 24th!

Come Join Us for a 4th of July Fundraiser and Support Our Golden Ticket Ballot Guide Project!

Thanks to one of our amazing LD2 Democratic supporters, we have the opportunity to put on a celebratory July 4th event with BBQ offerings, tasty accompaniments, beer, wine and other nonalcoholic beverages, for an exciting evening that includes spectacular fireworks from our host's lovely hilltop home.

You can stay local and avoid the crowds with a beautiful patio view of North Phoenix's light display.

The event kicks off at 6:30 and will run until the fireworks are over (around 10 pm).

All inclusive tickets are available here, with details provided by email receipt.

PC Spotlight

This month we are celebrating Maxwell Ulin, LD2's Vice Chair of Precinct Committee Recruitment. He has worked tirelessly to increase by nearly 50% the number of elected PCs who will take office on October 1st. That's Democratic engagement in action!

When not networking with fellow Democrats, Max is actively involved in labor contract negotiations for UNITE HERE Local 11 and serves on LD2's executive board, working also with the Maricopa County Democratic Party leadership.

Thank you for all you do, Max, to ensure LD2 is making a difference!

Clean Election Debate Schedule!

U.S. Reps. Andy Biggs and David Schweikert, will be debating this Wednesday, June 17, at 6:00 pm, along with lesser-known candidates, Scott Neely and Ken Miceli.

Additional Upcoming Debates: For a complete schedule, see the Clean Elections calendar of events, as well as details on how to submit questions. The PBS broadcast schedule provides additional scheduling information.

In The News

The Aftermath of Budget Week

The Arizona Legislature has finally adjourned sine die (a term meaning they've gone home until next January), but not without doing a lot of damage on their way out the door. Settle back with a beverage and digest the details as our work is cut out for us. More

Loading Up the Ballot

This year, lawmakers waited until the final day of the legislative session to handle Republican ballot referrals. Before adjourning last week, they sent seven questions to voters’ November ballots — adding to three questions they teed up for this year’s election during the 2025 session. But wait… even then, that’s (maybe) not all of the questions you’ll see on your ballot. More

Speak Now on Ballot Measures!

The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office is accepting pro and con arguments for the various ballot measures. They will be printed in a publicity pamphlet that will be mailed to all households with voters before they cast their votes. More

🥫Community Food Drives

Fight hunger in our community by helping with:

  • Distributing fliers to homes asking for food donations
  • Returning the following week to collect food for those in need
  • Covering a range of neighborhoods, including some Republican areas—so if confrontation isn’t your thing, keep that in mind!
