WW 12/3/25: CCC Gifts, Parade & more!

IMPORTANT:

CHRISTMAS CLEARING COUNCIL

Every year LDC partners with the Christmas Clearing Council to sponsor local families in need. We have 3 families, with a total of 12 kids that we are sponsoring this year.

This is the FINAL week to bring in your gift(s)!

• Shop AND wrap your gift.
• Attach your gift tag to the outside, so we know what family it is for, and bring it back to LDC by Saturday 12/6.
• We will coordinate with the families to get them their gifts before Christmas.

Thank you to those that grabbed tags. These families will have a very merry Christmas thanks to your generosity!

WAUKESHA CHRISTMAS PARADE (12/7)

• Sunday 12/7 at 4pm. We are excited to have another BIG LDC crew dancing/walking with us!
• If you ordered logo wear on the second order, it's here now too! Stop by the front desk to get yours.

DAY OF PARADE DETAILS:

• Arrive at the staging area (State Office Building) between 2:45-3:00pm.
• We are #63...but just look for the sea of red LDC sweatshirts.
• Dress warmly!! Miss Jan has made cute & cozy scarves for all of the parade dancers...we will hand those out when you check in at the parade.
• REMINDERS:
• A parent MUST walk with us if your dancer is 8 or younger.
• If your dancer is 9+ and is walking on their own you MUST meet us at the end of the parade when WE arrive there, not the end of the full parade. Please do NOT be late...it will be very cold and the LDC staff would greatly appreciate not having to wait. Thank you!!!
• PARADE DANCE:

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Tis the season!!! Some reminders about our inclement weather policy.

• We will aim to make the call by NOON for evening classes.
• We do not necessarily follow schools, as sometimes it's worse in the morning, sometimes worse in the evening.
• If we do close, we will announce via: Email, Facebook & Instagram and TMJ4.
• If we are open, but you don't feel safe driving...please stay home!
• Safety is our number one concern for our dancers/families, staff and teenage drivers.
• If we cancel or you choose to not attend, simply make up your missed class(es) at your convenience!

RECITAL!!!

The board is UP and the recital website is LIVE!

If you've been here before, you know the deal :)

If you are new to us...we can't wait for your to experience the magic that is recital! You may think it's just one weekend in the spring, but there are quite a few elements and special moments throughout the year that make up this special core memory.

BOARD IS UP: Be sure to check out the poster on the slat wall in the lobby (look for the balloon display and huddle of people!).

RECITAL WEBSITE IS LIVE: We have a dedicated recital website that will house all of the information you will need. We spread it out over the course of the next 6 7 months, so not all is released yet, but the photos of the costumes and songs names are!

COSTUMES: Costumes are being ordered as we speak! It takes a bit of time to get them in, organized and ready to hand out. But we will be working on that and handout begins in February!
